The birth of the Duero River is located at an altitude of about 2,160 metres at the southern edge of the Pico Urbión. That humble spring, guarded by quartidate rocks and high mountain prairies, is the point of origin of a pipeline that will run 897 km to the Atlantic. It's a place with a high symbolic load and one of the most iconic hiking destinations in Soria Province.
