The Cathedral of El Burgo de Osma is the most iconic monument of the village and one of the most fascinating examples of the evolution of architecture styles at the Iberian Peninsula. Building on an earlier Romanesque temple, today's construction began in 1232 and became a reference to the cistercian Gothic with subsequent contributions of great artistic value.
