A historic and artistic condo, Berlanga de Duero is one of the most well-known communities of Soria Province. Under the lordship of the powerful family Tvar and the Duques de Frías (Condestado de Castilla), the villa became a reference of Renaissance architecture and today preserves a monumental collection that moves the visitor to the most magnificent age of Spanish nobility.

The Berlanga horizon is defined by three great structures that tell about the town's power and faith history.
Collegiate of Santa María del Mercado: A masterpiece of the Gothic-Renaissance (S. XVI). It stands out for its living room and its thin columns and for housing the tomb of the Marques of Berlanga and the famous lizard brought from the Americas by Fairy Tomas de Berlanga.
