Beautiful water leap, situated south of the Sierra de Frentes or La Llana.
At the same place as the birth of the River Golmayo, water comes from the infiltration of rainfall into the mountain and emerges among rock formations and forms a leap of more than 20 metres.
La Cascada de la Toba is one of the most spectacular and accessible natural corners of Soria Province. Located at the Futetuba pastry (town term of Golmayo) and at the foot of the imposing limestone wall of the pico Frentes, this water leap stands out for its unique formation of rock topa calcarean, molded for centuries by the precipitation of the calcium carbonate from ground water.
During the melting season or after intense spring rain, the flow increases, offering an impressive figure just 10 minutes from Soria capital. It's an ideal destination for photo lovers, families and cheerleaders who seek a short escape in full nature.

You can complete your visit by exploring other historic and natural attractions at a short distance:
Monastery and Ermite of La Monjia (Fuentetuba): Located just above the cascade, this fortified monastery from the twelfth century (Cultural interest) impresses with its defensive Romanesque architecture and landscape at the foot of the Frentes pic.
Upstairs to the Frentes Panic: From Fuentetuba they have signage routes up to the top of the Frentes Panic (1.380 m), offering unparalleled panoramic views of the Duero and Soria capital valley.
Soria Capital (8 km): A few minutes by car you can discover jewelry such as the Arches of San Juan de Duero, the Hermitage of San Saturio on the banks of the Duero or the Church of Santo Domingo.
